There’s something magical about walking in the rain, when the world goes quiet and everything feels suspended. In this painting, I tried to capture that moment when we are completely alone with ourselves, wrapped in the hypnotic rhythm of the falling drops.
The red umbrella is like a tiny personal universe, a delicate boundary between us and the rest of the world. Acrylics allowed me to work with layered textures, creating that sense of transparency and motion you feel when rain filters through flowers and city lights.
I was thinking about those moments when melancholy turns into a quiet kind of beauty, and the simplest details — the sound of water, the colors intensified by the moisture — suddenly become poetry.
A fragment of life suspended in the blue of evening, when even solitude has a sweet flavor of its own.
