I often find myself sitting and looking at my paintings like windows into different worlds. This was the first one I created — the pool, with the golden legs in the foreground.
It was summer and I felt strange, like I was split in two — the part everyone could see, and the hidden one watching the world from behind glass.
When I put my brush to the canvas, the legs just appeared, telling me: "Look, this is your point of view. Not everyone else's."
